This update covers the last two weeks.
Lakes – members visited the lakes on 73 occasions and caught 23 trout, including a fish of 3lb 10ozs from Upper Figgs. Of the 14 trout caught at Little Bognor, 13 were returned.
The weed was cut at the rainbow lakes, the cuttings will be removed from the lake margins. The high water temperature has taken its toll, particularly at Great Springs but the occasional showers kept the rainbow lakes cooler, longer than most years.

River – members visited the river on 24 occasions and caught a total of 5 trout.
Heavy rain is forecast for the end of the week and this should further lower the water temperature in the lakes which will improve the fishing.
