The much-needed heavy rain in the past week has started to restore the lakes to their normal levels. The river rose a metre and coloured slightly, but should be fishable within a couple of days, to enable members a few more visits before the end of the river season (the last day is October 31st). The lakes will remain open until December 20th.
Successful flies used last week included:
Rainbow trout lakes: BFD, Montana, GRHE, San Juan, Beaded daddy, Cats whisker, Baby doll
Brown trout lakes: Olive, Daddy
River: Daddy, wet and dry, Buzzer, Sawyer bug, Klinkhammer, Beaded olive nymph, Mayfly nymph, PTN, Roach
